Perfect balance of alcoholic content and freshness, with an excellent, persistent finish and a pleasant aromatic aftertaste.
With its bright straw-yellow colour and incredibly delicate golden highlights, Pomino Bianco is extremely elegant. The bouquet is just as delicate, with gentle floral aromas that are balanced out wonderfully with fruity notes. White flowers, green apple, pear, grapefruit and the very many facets of citrus fruits combine for an extremely well-balanced nose. On the palate, it is pleasantly fresh yet soft.
Frescobaldi embodies the essence of Tuscany, its extraordinary vocation for viticulture and the diversity of its territories. Frescobaldi’s uniqueness stems precisely from the representation of this diversity, from its estates and from wines which express a kaleidoscope of aromas and sensations, springing from the characteristics of each individual terroir. Behind every Frescobaldi wine lies the passion of our agronomists and oenologists, who know our vineyards and terroirs down to the finest detail. A commitment to viticulture and to agriculture in general has always been a prominent hallmark of the Frescobaldi family, who have been producing wine in Tuscany for seven hundred years, beginning in the early 1300s.

Aged in stainless steel for 4 months and 1 month in bottle. Careful harvesting and work in the cellar helps guarantee superior quality. As soon as the grapes arrive in the cellar, they, and the resulting musts, have the least contact with oxygen possible. The pressing cycles are chosen to allow for a gentle extraction of the musts. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel vats with 15% in French oak barriques, all at a controlled temperature. At the end of the production process, Pomino Bianco is aged in the bottle for a few months. Only after this further ageing period is it ready to share its structure and explosion of freshness with the public.
Tasting Note
This is a rare find, a white wine from Tuscany for those who love a good Chablis. The wine is creamy yet mineral and fresh with aromas of pear, citrus and cream. Full-bodied with hints of bakery notes, white flowers and orchard fruits.
