An intense cherry red with flashing hints of violet. Raspberry and blackberry notes on the nose. Rounded and well structured, this is an appealing wine in which the hints of red fruit stand out and persist on the palate. 12.5% alc./vol.

Grupo Coviñas is the leading winery in the Utiel-Requena Denominación de Origen (DO), holding over 41% of the total land under vine. They are a secondary co-operative (one that includes other co-operatives) established in Requena in the 1960s when the winegrowers of the 10 co-operatives in the region joined forces to harness their sales strength and optimise the market availability of their high quality wines. There are ten cooperatives within Coviñas: Los Isidros, Requena, La Portera, Roma, Las Monjas, San Antonio, Campo Arcís, Villargordo, Barrio Arroyo and Los Duques. Their Requena winery uses the latest technology to produce the highest quality wines and Cavas. The winery is certified and controlled under demanding quality and food safety standards such as BRC and IFS Food.
