Leopards Leap Sauvignon Blanc 750ml
A firm yet elegant structure with fresh, crisp pineapple and lime flavours that lead to a zesty aftertaste. Aromas of green pepper and grapefruit.
A fresh, crisp, medium-bodied wine made in a New-world style. On the nose there are ripe gooseberry and freshly cut grass aromas which are well balanced by subtle whiffs of Sally Williams Nougat. A firm yet refined structure on the palate, with succulent papaya and granadilla flavours that impart a zesty and fresh aftertaste. Alcohol: 12.5%.
Leopard's Leap was conceptualised at the turn of the century by winemaker and businessman Hein Koegelenberg. With an initial international focus, the brand’s exceptional performance in the global market today sees it represented in more than 40 countries with dedicated marketing teams and distribution across Asia, the UK, Europe, North America and Africa. While consumers worldwide enjoy Leopard's Leap wines as an outstanding example of South African quality, it is at its Franschhoek home where guests are introduced to the accessible and versatile wine portfolio and the ways in which Leopard's Leap wines can be enjoyed as part of an everyday quality lifestyle.
The grapes originate from the Villiersdorp and Robertson areas and are harvested at optimum fruit ripeness. Fermentation took place at 12°C, with extended lees contact. Total acid: 6.27 g/l. pH: 3.39. Residual sugar: 3.58 g/l.
