Fruity aftertaste of ripe fruit. Aromas of cherries, strawberries, roses and jasmine.

Light pink, clean and bright. The nose of this wine is intense, with dominant red fruits such as strawberries and cherries, as well as hints of flowers such as roses, jasmine and edelweiss. It is tasty in the mouth with a very well balanced acidity and alcohol. Sweet aftertaste with a hint of ripe fruit. Long, persistent, fresh and dynamic.

PradoRey has the largest grape growing area in Ribera del Duero, 545 hectares of vineyards so they can control and assure the quality of their wines every year. There are nine distinct vineyards, which vary in altitude, orientation and soil composition: Hoyo Dornajo, La Mina, Prado del Rey, Salgüero, El Pino, Los Robles, Valdelayegua, La Recorba and Los Quemados.

520 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, 8 terroirs, 813m average altitude. 100% Tempranillo. Spontaneous fermentation. Short maceration. Limited production of 35,830 bottles. In each vineyard, painstaking care is taken of the different varieties and plantars. Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Albillo Mayor are the main varieties. Vines over 100 years old were selected from different parts of Ribera del Duero. This allowed PradoRey to recover some unique, pre-phylloxera vines, such as the Élite plantar. The climate, Mediterranean with a marked continental influence, is defined by long, cold winters, rainy springs with a high risk of frosts, warm, dry summers and harsh autumns with marked temperature differences between day and night.

Tasting Note

A moderately aromatic rosé with aromas of cherry, strawberry, jasmine and apricot. Dry on the palate with balanced acidity, good length and a weight of summer fruits.
