Excellent balance of fresh fruit acidity and medium palate weight. Aromas of apricot, pear, white peach and lemon.

Vibrant aromas of honeysuckle, lemon chutney, ripe pineapple and vanilla. This Chardonnay features a creamy mid-palate with a long finish, rich flavours of honeysuckle, lemon and tropical fruits with underlying toasty oak.

Aged 10 months in a combination of stainless steel and new and old French and American oak. Aging potential: 3-5 years. Rutherford's winemaking team crafts elegant, varietally-true wines with fruit from the two estate vineyards and select vineyards sites throughout the valley. The cooler sites yield grapes with bright, rich flavours and tropical fruit characteristics. Warmer sites within the valley produce grapes with deep, intense flavours. Together they provide the winemakers with an unequaled palate of flavour and character and quality.

Tasting Note

This oak-aged Chardonnay offers delectable notes of caramel and spice. On the palate, flavours range from ripe pear to dried apricot and ripe golden apples. Smooth and creamy with soft acidity.
