Seifried Pinot Gris 750ml

Seifried Nelson Pinot Gris has luscious aromatics with nashi pear and spiced stewed rhubarb notes.

A beautiful expression of Pinot Gris with its own New Zealand style. The palate is succulent and flavoursome with juicy pear and ginger. The wine is just off-dry leaving a long tasty spicy finish. Ripe peach notes on the nose, generous fruit and a broad flavoursome palate leaves a lasting impression.

Seifried, pioneering family winegrowers from Nelson, New Zealand. All aspects of production from propagation, planting, viticulture, harvest, winemaking, bottling, warehousing and dispatch are all done on site under the watchful eye of the Seifried family. Seifried was the first Nelson winery accredited with sustainable winegrowing.

The Pinot Gris was harvested from vineyard blocks comprising differing soils, micro-climates, and clones, as well as different aged vines. The parcels were harvested and fermented separately prior to blending at a much later stage.

Tasting Note

Moderately aromatic, this Pinot Gris offers notes of ripe, white peach, yellow flowers and ground dry spice. Medium to full bodied on the palate with concentrated stone fruits and honey and gentle freshness in the finish.
