Seifried, pioneering family winegrowers from Nelson, New Zealand. All aspects of production from propagation, planting, viticulture, harvest, winemaking, bottling, warehousing and dispatch are all done on site under the watchful eye of the Seifried family. Seifried was the first Nelson winery accredited with sustainable winegrowing.

Using 100% Riesling fruit, the grapes were hand selected at the peak of ripeness with a large portion of the fruit shrivelled and raisined, caused by natural dehydration. The grapes were then gently pressed to release a very concentrated intensely flavoured juice.

Tasting Note

This multi-award winning dessert wine balances intense sweetness with mouthwatering acidity. Aromas of banana, canied popcorn and marmelade lead to a long finish balancing fruit concentration with palate cleansing freshness.
