Warm and rich, with notes of apricot and pineapple, and a well-balanced acidity that offers a pleasant and extended finish.

Bright yellow colour with gold hints. The nose shows complex notes of vanilla, fresh pineapple and lychee. The palate is intense, fresh and juicy with soft notes of herbs and a spicy and toasted finish. The wine is harmonious with a well-balanced acidity and structure. Serve at 10-12°C.

Torreôn de Paredes is located in Rengo, 114km south of Santiago, Chile, in the heart of the famous Cachapoal Valley in the foothills of the Andes mountain range. The Torreôn de Paredes wines are the product of a unique terroir, the result of the high quality soil in the area, the pure mountain water provided by the Claro River and the climatic conditions. The large temperature range, soils of low fertility and high percentage of stones make it possible to cultivate varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carménère, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. Since 2015, Torreôn de Paredes has been certified under the Sustainability Code as it seeks to reduce the potential environmental and social risks caused by the activities involved in wine production while its state-of-the-art technology produces world-class wines.

Located within the Central Valley are the upper reaches of the Cachapoal Valley, one of Chile’s historic winegrowing valleys. In this valley lies the town of Rengo, protected by the mountain range which creates an area that is cooler and more arid than the rest of the valley. The Torreôn de Paredes vineyard is built on alluvial soil and flanked by the mighty Andes, which not only provides a stunning backdrop to the Torreôn de Paredes winery, but also creates the dramatic contrasts between day and night temperatures which result in richer, juicier grapes. The grapes for the Reserva range are harvested by hand in select estate vineyards. The wines are traditionally aged in French and American oak barrels.
